Spit and Spat are apparently a fountain. Can anyone confirm this?
For centuries, tourists have flocked to Saratoga Springs in upstate New York for the purported healing powers of the area’s mineral springs—and for the horse racing. Congress Park in the center of town is a popular place to stop for a drink from a spring-fed fountain and to see “Spit and Spat,” two beloved if ill-behaved water sprites.
